YOUTH EXTENDED SERVICES (YES) PROGRAM
CFIDD Community Parent Resource Center will be conducting an enriched
after school tutoring program.  The Youth Extended Services (YES) Program
will be offered J
une 16, 2008 - July 11, 2008.  The YES program will be held at
the CFIDD Administrative Office in Ottoville until renovations are completed
at T-32 Lion's Park.
The YES Program continues to collaborate with the University of Hawaii
CoHort Teachers Program as well as the Service Learning Program Students
at the American Samoa Community College (ASCC) in tutoring and
supporting students.

The focus of the YES Program is to
assist students in the academic
areas of language arts and
mathematics.  In addition, socials
respite activities in psychomotor, the
arts and skills training are also
introduced.

The YES Program is funded through a
grant from the The Govenor's  
Developmental Disabilities Planning
Council, a Community Service Block
Grant,  Corporate and Private
Sponsors/ Donations.
